The general term is Credit Score. Banks and NBFCs in India can use credit score from any of the four RBI approved credit information companies (CIC). RBI defined a range for a credit score is 300–900 with 900 being the highest. A score above 700 is generally acceptable, though score from each CIC may have a slightly different benchmark. You can check your credit score free once in a year from CIR.CRIFhighmark.com by providing you pan card and/or Aadhaar number.
